Boskalis Environmental celebrates an exceptional safety milestone

Boskalis Environmental celebrates an exceptional safety milestone at the Fox River cleanup project in Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA - 10 years without a single lost-time injury (LTI).

In 2008, Boskalis Environmental was hired as the subcontractor to design, build, and operate the sediment desanding and dewatering components of the largest environmental dredging project in U.S. history. Now, 10 years later and with over 5 million cubic yards of sediment processed, the Fox River project continues its work with a focus on safety.

This achievement was possible because of the strong safety culture, close collaboration, and communication among all three companies involved: prime contractor Tetra Tech EC Inc., dredging and capping subcontractor J.F. Brennan Company Inc., and processing subcontractor Boskalis Environmental.
